A couple Pro tips to get started:

First, you must choose heroes that will provide you a winning strategy. Warrior and Clerics must usually be in the center of the battle to be efficient, as they don’t have much movements, but strong attacks. Rogues and Wizards like to stay farther away, as they have whether lot of movements or attacks that can reach opponents farther away.

Plus, it’s good to have strong defensive positions to survive, but you’ll also need to have some more aggressive heroes that will be able to kill the opponents. Having a good mix of both is good. The more aggressive heroes are: The Brute, The Disciple, The Fire Mage and The Hunter. While The Guardian, The Healer, The Archivist and The Assassin focus less on damages but have a lot of tricks to control the battle.

You must also think about your main strategy when positioning your first heroes.

If you want to control the field at distance, opting for the Hunter combined with the Archivist is a good plan. In that case, you must place The Hunter as far as possible, yet in the middle as Range attacks must shoot straights. While the Archivist will be able to control the situations with a lot of tricks and small attacks.

If you want to hold ground for a long time, opting for The Disciple and The Gardian will let you survive any attack while maintaining the middle ground and slowly grinding your opponents. This strategy can be interesting, especially if you have an ally that need more time, such as The Fire Mage.

If you’d rather got for a simplest option, going all out with The Brute while keeping it alive with The Healer is a straight forward solution that works well.

If you enjoy a more calculated option, with lot of auras and strong spells, opting for The Fire Mage is the way to go. You will have to find a right balance in between using strong spells or skipping your turn to get another aura that will make you more efficient in the next turns.

Playing The Assassin requires a little more mastery, as you need to get close to your opponents to deal damages while trying to maintain the distance. You will need to fully take benefits of its higher movement, but this also come with great rewards.

In any case, there is no “wrong” combinations, so feel free to go in any direction.

And once again, let us know what did work for you, and share some epic fights!!
