1. Deck Overview

2. Positioning

The Hunter is usually trying to stay 3 cases away from its target, while remaining in straight line. Thus, placing this hero as far as possible, while staying in the center to have both side open if needed.

When you first position your heroes, it is usually a good idea to place The Brute on C1 or D1

It’s good not to have other allies on B1 and E1 so you can move easily and still get opponents within Range.

3. Opening Hand

Whenever you start, 1/3 of your hand is likely to be movement cards, 1/3 to be attack cards and 1/3 to be tricks or aura.

You’ll likely need to move in order to have an opponent within Range. Remember that you can only target opponents that are in straight line when using attacks with Range.

The Hunter really likes to play first. Whether to set up a strong aura on turn 1 or to set the tone with a good range attack. In any case, you almost always got strong openings.

You normally don’t run out of cards with The Hunter, so it’s good to push damages whenever you can. Its second ability will also get you covered during “weaker” turns

There is many way to play this hero, so adjust your first turns accordingly to how  things go.

4. Victory Conditions

  • Make sure to have a good synergie with your cards. Think how you will chain your attacks.
  • Don’t corner yourself. Even if Range attacks can target adjacent opponents, the benefits from being farther are humongous.
  • Poisoning an opponent and then using your speed to avoid the battle is a legitimate srategy.
  • You can go huge when combining Bull’s Eye with other buffs.

5. Upgrading your deck

If you want to upgrade this deck, you might want to consider the following options:

  • SNAKE GOD’S TRIDENT – This card is a must stop for any opponent. If well timed, this win you the game in no time.
  • HASTE CLOAK– Chaining repetitive strong attacks is deadly. As you usually  stay away, your Endurance shall remain high enough to use this card plenty.
  • SNEAK THROUGH – This trick usually seems unimpressive. However, this will allow you to avoid big hit while recovering in the middfle of the grid, letting you easily distance your opponent.
