1. Deck Overview

2. Positioning

The Assassin will seak to disrupt the ennemies plan. You will try to position her in a way she can reach the support heroes quickly.

You will normally want to start in A2,B2,E2 or F2, as you want to be able to reach most spaces quickly, while avoiding a direct confrontation.

3. Opening Hand

With plenty of attacks and movement cards, you will always have what it takes to go where you want and annoy the opponents. However, it is usually best not to try to push damages too early, so it is better to start with an aura or a disruptive plan.

Aim for a good position and wait. Using rest to replenish your hand in a safe spot is a very good option with this hero.

4. Victory Conditions

  • Focus on big turns. Striking an opponent repetitively will quickly put it on back foot.
  • Whenever an opponent is lacking defense, it’s time to place some Bleeding or Poisonous damages. Save your good attacks for when it matters.
  • You’ll never have enough cards in hand. Draw cards whenever you can and rest when it is safe to do so.
  • Make sure not to get surrounded. Always have a retreat plan. Using a card to run away will be worth more than trying to defend.
  • Manage your Endurance as a resource. Gaining a timely Refresh is much better than the extra Endurance Point.
  • Playing the Assassin is hard. Practice a lot.

5. Upgrading your deck

If you want to upgrade this deck, you might want to consider the following options:

  • SNAKE GOD’S TRIDENT – This card simply provides too much power to be ignored. Damages, poisons and Range. More than you could ask.
  • CUNNING SLASH – It’s hard to hit with this card, but if you do, you’ll get exactly what it takes to win.
  • UNDER COVER – If you try to go all out, sneaking in the middle of the ennemies to make them attack each others is pure chaos.
