1. Deck Overview

2. Positioning

The Disciple enjoys to be in the middle of the fight. It must try to be card efficient, as you never have the strongest options.

When you first position your heroes, it is usually a good idea to place The Disciple in C2 or D2

Jump right in the fight.

3. Opening Hand

With over 50% cards being attacks and 20% movements, you shall have what it takes to get in the middle and start hitting.

You don’t mind much who you are facing, as the Disciple is not very good at finishing the opponents. It will do a great job at simply forcing opponents to waste their cards. Simply avoid being surrounded, as you will be able to withstand only a certain amount of hits in one turn.

You’ll play a give and take game, so try to focus on one-on-one situations.

4. Victory Conditions

  • You must focus on trading cards with your opponent. Use attacks that will keep you ahead of the opponent, such as Pity, Attack of Hope and Holy Smite.
  • When you face a weaker opponent, you can try to go for lethal with a well placed Refresh attack. A timely Second Breath will get the job done.
  • God’s Armor is excellent at holding rogues at bay. The prevention shield is for every attack and if you get multiple attacks, you draw more cards.
  • Avoir being surrounded at all cost. There is no way you can face 2 opponents with this hero.
  • This hero shall play by itself. Follow your instinct.

5. Upgrading your deck

If you want to upgrade this deck, you might want to consider the following options:

  • SUPERIOR SLASH – A great attack that chains into more damages. In no time you can recover all your Endurance and kneel your opponent.
  • CROWN OF THORNS – You don’t bother much about the Endurance loss, while the extra card being extremely valuable.
  • GLIMPSE OF DEATH – As you gain Endurance each turn, this can easily trigger many times. If properly timed, this will feel like a glitch in the Matrix!
